The MPI Innovation Showcase at WEC 2017

What’s the coolest piece of technology you’ve seen this year? What can’t you live without? Have you invented something that will revolutionize the meetings and events industry? Tell us all about it.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is looking for presenters who will talk about tech tools they’ve created at The MPI Innovation Showcase for its 2017 World Education Congress (WEC). WEC will take place June 19-22, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nev. Proposals will be accepted through October 15th 2016. We will start to notify selected speakers in December 2016. To submit, please click here:

Planner and Supplier Best Practices Experiences at WEC 2017

Have you ever been at an event when something went wrong? Whether it was a catering mishap, a speaker stranded overseas or a literal tsunami disrupting your program, we want to know – about what went wrong, what you learned and how you’d do things differently.

Why? Because at the 2017 World Education Congress (WEC) in Las Vegas, Nev., June 19-22, we’d like to hold a series of special peer-to-peer educational sessions based on how meeting and event professionals have dealt with real-world experiences and were able to minimize damage by thinking on their feet and learned from their mistakes.

So if you, or someone you know, has an “it happened to me” story, we want to hear about it (and can keep your identity secret if you’d like). Proposals will be accepted through Oct. 15, 2016. To submit, please click here:
